Do you share your location with your spouse or partner? What about accounts?

I have never shared my location with any of my partners. This is because I’ve not had the tech to do it, and even if I did, my partner didn’t.

It doesn’t make sense to me to have my account shared with anyone. Its my Uber Eats account, not “our Uber Eats account.”

Its my “Uber account” not “our Uber account.”

I’ll assist if it makes sense and let the driver know who they’re picking up and share the link to the trip, but sharing my account could give me other problems like paying for things I know nothing about.

They could bill things to my various payment methods tht I didn’t authorize to use, and that could be a problem.

If I had a partner right now, my partner has a different operating system for their device than I do. That also plays a part in location sharing.

I’ve offered to share my location with others who need to know where I am so they can contact me in a different way. One decided that they didn’t want to recipricate but that’s OK. I thought they’d be interested in looking and seeing how it worked, more than tracking every move which I don’t do anyway.

The article is a Malwarebytes article titled Men report more pressure and threats to share location and accounts with partners, research shows which is interesting to say the least.

Lots of numbers here, so take a look if you wish to do so.
