More on the memorials for people who have died

Earlier, I blogged about memorials for people who have died and how actors are taking advantage of this opportunity to take money thanks to the eyes of Kim Komando.

Now, in the same newsletter, Malwarebytes is also covering this.

This blog post was quite interesting as one of the TLD’s used was .xyz but can you guess the rest?

Like another post, if you guessed .com, you’re correct.

I had to laugh when the article said that it wanted your credit crad (spelling intentional) so we know English is not their native language.

Unfortunately, this goes on the heels of Kim’s post which I linked too the last time we covered this.

Under fake streaming sites they list:

Qtvlivestreamhd[.]com

Hqonlivestream[.]xyz

Visitpageaus[.]com

Auseventstream[.]com

Under phishing, they list:

pbg4jptrk[.]com

paperpadpen[.]com

The brackets are there so you don’t click, although this blog dpoesn’t automaticly link.

Fake funeral “live stream” scams target grieving users on Facebook is the article, make it a great day!
