We’ve been yapping abuout the fact that some of these attacks we’ve seen were not sophistocated. This article I could agree is something that is sophistocated since the user has no knowledge of what’s happening.
The perpetrator gained access to the account through the password reset tool, which then allowed the same perp to forward all incoming email to one they control. That’s sophistocated, seeing how the individual who was not named had no idea of the attack.
