ATT, Verizon say they can’t be fined

This i very interesting. Verizon, ATT and others are claiming that the FCC can not enforce penalties of their data sharing practices because of the statue of limitations and other aspects too.

I read this article from ars, and I can see why briefs have been made in some cases to date.

T-Mobile even went so far as to sue the FCC for this, but being fair is fair. These companies never asked any of their customers whether it is OK to share our data.

While location data is good to have to make sure we have service, it is not for sale.

I never gave any company to sell my location at all. Neither did you, nor anyone else who reads this.

Verizon, AT&T tell courts: FCC can’t punish us for selling user location data is the article that folk should check out.
