File with the IRS before scammers do

Within the past week, the IRS here in the United States has begun issuing pins to those who have registered so they can file their taxes.

Scammers will also take advantage and try to get money using your name to get themselves tons of money they may not deserve.

The article written here is from Bleeping Computer and is titled Scammers file first — Get your IRS Identity Protection PIN now.

Jared, why are you posting this? I don’t file taxes.

That’s a great question, and its simple. If you know people that do, you can do what I’ve said we aught to do for awhile … pass the info along.

Not everything here may affect every single person, but we’re here to give out info.

If you are in the U.S., please consider passing this along.
