Chase to deny or block Zelle payments through social media contacts

I’d like to thank Terry Ring who mentioned something about this article we’ll be talking about in this post.

While I’m behind a little bit, Bleeping computer is covering this issue where Chase is concerned.

According to the article, the CFPB (the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) sued)

came out and sued the major banks of the U.S. including the aforementioned Chase.

But as I said to Mr. Ring, how are they going to know the contact is one that you know personally via social media?

One of the people I pay, someone I’ve actually know and actually works for me, gets paid through there. It saves me from going to get cash when it is not safe for me to do so anymore.

One of my bank branches closed, and another one, the ATM machines are drive through. I know where they are, but i got nothing to work when I needed one.

This, is going to be very interesting.

If you want to read more about the issue and when this is supposedly supposed to take place, please read Chase will soon block Zelle payments to sellers on social media and thanks Terry for bringing this up to our attention!
