X now wanting to block signal domain used for sending out contact info

Last night, I read this article titled X now blocks Signal contact links, flags them as malicious which wasn’t surprising to me.

I even checked out signal.me the domain in question by going to its main page. There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with the domain in my opinion, and per usual, Twitter now known as X has no comment about the matter.

All other Signal domains used by the company can be gotten to through Twitter with no problem.

What the hell is Twitter’s problem now? The article indicates that they didn’t want people to use any compitition so they blocked links to Facebook and Mastodon, then rescinded it after backlash.

Those who use Signal and send their contact info to others through this method which is supposed to be more secure should wine to X and get them to understand this. Whether Elon or anyone else who reads tickets actually gives a fuck will remain to be a mystery.
