Another threat actor indicates they won’t go after hospitals, cancer centers

The ransomware landscape is getting a shakeup, and this one may get interesting.

The group, named Dragon Force wants you to be in control of your stuff while not worrying about the infrastructure.

Why are they doing this? They’ll take a 20 percent cut of the ransom in exchange of them running the infrastructure. They’ll even let you use their brand if you wish.

If I were to run this, I would not be talking to any press. They did say that some players that have been written about through Bleeping Computer are joining them. Some may be well-known and others may not be so well-known.

It is not very clear in this article if this group has a leak site, but if they do, its like the rest where people could probably find it if they know how.

Do you believe they won’t go after cancer centers as they claim? Hospitals? I guess we’ll see.

We don’t know the rules, but they did indicate that if you slip up, you’re gone.
