Hello gang,
As we figure out what we want to cover, I saw this article about an outage which seems to be recovering due to high CPU usage.
This comes on the heals of Skype’s closure, which was publisized and customers emailed throughout.
I’m not going to say that this was cooincidental, as this article does indicate other issues that happened within the last month, but I wonder if the sudden move to teams after the closure which was supposed to be May 5th took place.
New Microsoft 365 outage impacts Teams and other services is the article talking on today’s closure.
If you want to read the Skype closure article, Microsoft is killing Skype today, pushes users to Teams is that article. I’m putting it here because it could be related as users finally are pushed to Teams, and I did take a look at the new options and understand how I can use my Skype credit and remaining subscription.
The aforementioned Skype article just talks about the history of the change, something I think all Skype users got through Email and through Skype itself.
Since things are returning to normal now from what I think, we’ll have to see how this goes.
