DDOSecrets is at it again

I was actually looking for something else, but I found this article about DDOSecrets and how they shared over 4GB of data that came from a clone of Signal which does not encrypt their messages.

Apparently, the government is using an app called TeleMessage, which does not encrypt the messages as Signal does.

DDOSecrets is a whistleblowing web site used by news outlets and others to investigate things.

Former government official Mike Waltz
and others may have used the application.

CyberNews has all of the details of this if you’d like to learn more.

The article is titled DDoSecrets publishes 410 GB of messages from hacked Signal clone used by Mike Waltz if this interests you.

Does this surprise you? Why or why not?
