Mid week editorial, the cost of windows 11

Hi all.
Well due to various family things this weekend I won’t be writing the editorial as I would usually do and becides there is enough stable information to put one out.
This weeks updates include office and chrome, so edge will follow.
Thunderbird and firefox will release but since 140 of firefox is on beta9 and seems static its a question of when rather than if.
Most likely it can happen between now and the next month half patch update.
Zoom also had updates, and amd had a chip update.
Those with lenovo systems had their vantage management systems get an update.
So on to the news.
As windows 10 support draws to a close or closer at any rate a few topics have got me from various places round the web.

I haven’t seen some of this stuff on more than 1 source but google ai is good at putting out top stories.
Firstly, as we all know june hasn’t been good for microsoft with update on an update to on an update to fix stuff.
The latest game cheat update aparently to some doesn’t fix their issues and some have issue loading updates for this month.
There are those that have other issues and june seems to be a bad month for microsoft.
Next an interesting article on a non main tech site has governments in various places quitting windows and office after the latest version 11 update means perfectly good hardware needs upgrading or replaceing especially since some sources say the work arounds are not safe to use.
Its only on 1 site but as things get closer microsoft is probably going to have some flack from this one.
I haven’t had any issues on the system I use but the user that handles it doesn’t use anything non standard.
Edge will probably update at the end of the week but there probably won’t be much more for this week.
Note to all readers of my smeveriss blog that read this.
As of this post I will try to not copy stuff from area to area unless its of critical note excluding tech updates that is.
Anyway I will see you guys next week.
