Drones lead Malwarebytes newsletter this week

In the lead article this week, Malwarebytes is reporting that several states find it a problem when you violate airspace of a private citizen, say near their home or apartment while most states claimn its fine.

We know that police drones have made mistakes with OCR when identifying license plates. OCR is good, but even when we started using it with programs like open book and K1000 as software, it had to be so perfect.

While AI tools like Seeing AI, Be My AI and others infer services to assist like Chat GPT, it can still be a problem.

I was at the vending machine to see what I wanted to get, and I baught something I didn’t know the machine had because the descriptions today were not great, especially for the bottom rows of things.

I’m not against drones and other technology when it is used to assist, and maybe some drones have aided in finding people, and even dogs, as discussed in one Kim Komando minute.

The lead article is titled Police using drones to read your license plates, warns EFF if you wish to read it.

I’m curious on your thoughts whether you are for this or against this.

Nothing is set in stone and can change if we discuss it and make our thoughts known.

Let’s keep the conversation going!

I look forward in hearing from you.
