the last little push

Hi.
Well looks like a big update got released for office offline, looks to be 2021 and up.
365 was updated today.
Zoom got updates.
Its been here for a bit but ccleaner 7.0 has a lot of payed things and is no longer free.
v6.39 is the last portable to download and the last freeish version for those that want it.
There is the new ms pc manager but ccleaner v6 has worked for ages and I have had no issue with it.
Its a pitty though like many users that the program I have worked on for ages to get working is now no more and so on.
I also do not understand the new interface.
Its a web based system but to be honest ccleaner was working almost fine.
Now what will we do.
Of course if ccleaner was not subscription and I could buy a 1 off key for technical use and it was portable then I’d just go do that.
I don’t need most of the software and other updaters though.
If there are drivers and software I’d prefer to be told where to get it so I could get it myself.
Now for a service that would get it for me and tell me where to get it and output the results and things to a file and other things I’d pay for that.
Kind of like the old langa list and other tunups.
These actually told me where to get free tools and the like and I did and they worked and some I had to buy and I did actually get good modules.
If mr langa hadn’t gone I’d actually pay for his mag because he was a good keen fella to quote mr crump which is one of my authors I do read a reasonable load of.
Here a lot of wind is appearing and going with spring storms.
A reminder that the last posting by me will happen between wednesday and or friday of next week.
I just hope no major storm dammage has effected my rout as I am going to travel for the next 11 days.
Every year I go out to several festivals including an art decco one in a place south of me called napia.
I will be going to new plimouth, close to mount taranaki, one of our major mountains, yes the one which may blow sooner or later lets hope while I am not under it.
I will also be doing some caving tours at waitomo, which is a place I have heard about, and past many a time but never done anything with and this is exciting to no end.
I will then end up at raglan which is a surf place though I won’t be surfing by any means.
This will be the last trip of the year.
Bar chromium and microsoft updates, mozilla, dropbox, maybe adobe and codecs, I don’t expect any major updates from now till next year.

Looks like everything is in the can for the week.
A new start menu maybe on the cards for windows 11 next month.
