Hi all.
Well this is probably the final post you will get from me for the next bit as I am leaving saturday morning local time.
So here are the updates.
Bar a minor codec update on saturday the 25th, the following is out.
Zoom has an update.
Chrome updated to 142 so you know what will be happening in the next 3 days with edge or should anyway.
Office 365 got a minor update.
Windows 11 has updates.
The issues with localhost have been fixed as well as some screen reader legacy window issues.
Intel have updated wireless and bluetooth device drivers and for certain people with the right hardware displays as well as nvidia.
In windows 11 space the new start menu is roling out aparently though I have yet to see this on my workstation I service.
Extra memmory protections and such is making supposedly things better if something crashes, of course its safe to say it will not be accessible for us to scan memmory at least I don’t think it can.
Supposedly extra protections will be in place for admins to stop malware.
This has yet to be tested, however with uac and such revarifying is probably going to anger more people than not.
However various services from dischord to facebook and others in whats app have been hit by a group from terkie and this has got several of us users here.
My advice is use what you need and don’t use otherwise.
The messages are easy to spot if nown, they will not be well spelled and so on however several have been court out.
Warnings about massive environmental waste with windows 10 out of support.
In addition lenovo, hp and asus seem to be the top computer makers people choose to buy from as well as apple.
A lot of stuff has been fixed at least so lets hope things just work now.
Microsoft reminds all that there will be no optional preview bugfix update next month but there will be a normal standard update.
Things I expect.
Mozilla will release updates in the usual time as well as the 130 codecguide packs.
I don’t think anyone else will be releasing anything.
Be aware that nvda released a security update this week.
Its been discussed in multiple places and you will certainly have it by now.
See you when I return.
As a certain terminator says “I’ll be back!!!!”
