Hi all.
Firstly there are updates.
1. edge updated probably due to the chrome update not to mention the out of banned updates.
There are just so many.
adobe acrobat has another update it seems like they release an update just about every other week.
A few extras updated here which are not general user software to but still a bunch of updates.
I was hoping to avoid this but it seems microsoft is just to dumb to notice that us users have a voice to.
Its just been revieled that while its pushing for the 26h1 update for ai devices only and its new ai system, that the updates it made for windows 24h2 in july 2025 are full of bugs in particular ones facing the shell without any real fix date.
I have said it before and I will say it again.
Fix your stuff first before you make any real changes.
Progress is fine, we get that.
Ai is coming and we get that to heck we use it.
But your os needs to be stable.
Your core especially needs to stay stable to.
When we users turn our systems on we expect them to start without extras.
We then expect to run our systems at base level.
Sure there may be bugs afterwards but still.
Again I find myself searching for windows 11 pcs to replace my one that starts with 10.
But yet again I look at my local account, and my simple startup.
Do I want to abandon this for the mess ms ai is now and all its security concerns.
Do I want to abandon stability for security, and possible bugs in the system.
I tell you what.
I will go for unsecure any day I want my system to boot.
And then I want the basics to run.
Over that whatever.
But if I can’t search or run start menu or open my shell consistantly then why do I even have a computer.
Bottem line microsoft, your broken systems and user promises are driving others to mac and linux.
I am not going to do that because I just have far to much invested in windows and I like the interface.
But seriously just give us a stable system for one month.
There has been nothing bar bugs and trouble ever since windows appeared online.
In the 9x system it was minimal.
In xp it was semi managable.
In the vista and me series maybe not much.
In 7 it stayed managable.
In 8 that was a different run.
In 10 you had your issues but you managed to get on top of that.
Now you are pushing to much.
If you want to go ai root then I suggest you get your windows 11 whatever the basic version was before 24h2 or something like lts for users and you just drop us back to 10 or a simple system.
Your business buddies can use what they want.
We won’t stop you.
I am a home user with pro admin access because I like the extra features that that prevides.
I am a access tester contracter.
I don’t and won’t need office like conditions at all.
I work at home and thats the way I role.
Take your extras and do what you will but I don’t want them or need them.
If you can’t fix your stuff you have 2 options.
Give us 10 and continue to be broken, or fix your issues and try to remember that everyone is equal.
Or you can just and go and fuck right off as far as I care.
You’ve done a load of dammage to us users trust and while we were happy to handle you for some stuff I am unsure how much of us want to do that now I certainly am unsure.
I mean I will stay because I have a lot invested but if I was just restarting and if I could go back in time I wouldn’t have even tried to invest in windows at all.
Ai sure its nice.
Encrypted storage, its nice.
An online account for stuff is also nice.
Here is the thing.
We fucking want to muther fucking turn on our muther fucking pcs and have them fucking boot!!!!!
We don’t need or appreciate the bugs the crashes and while we realise windows is complicated, we just don’t appreciate how far down the broken area its gone.
Look at my windows 10 system.
I turn it on and it starts.
I was looking at a cheap pc to get me to windows 11 but I am almost tempted to just keep this till it breaks.
And when it does I am tempted just to get another one and load windows 10 on it.
You guys are not calling any favors with me.
Every time I update I worry whats fucked up and not what is new.
I know you don’t read this but
