Hi.
I believe some of this was covered previously but look at this.
https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/national/581342/26-000-new-zealanders-devices-infected-with-malicious-software-cyber-security-agency-warns
Anyway, 26000 users here have potentually been hit with malware.
If you went to a hacked site or were silly enough to click a fishing mail you may have malware.
I do not click fishing mails though I almost got caught and I warn others on the network.
This is a bit closer to home than I’d like.
Usually its a country away but oh well.
A small note, edge has released out of banned today.
Office has released and there is a windows recovery update release.
Firefox has updated but don’t be surprised if other things update to.
Dropbox has yet to update.
Adobe is updating as I write this post.
This stuff is probably all pre christmas stuff.
Codecguide is at 19.35 or there abouts.
As far as I know there are no other updates but expect unexpected downloads as everyone prepairs for christmas goings on.
A reminder that you have round 2 weeks from today till the end of school in certain places.
If you want to avoid traffic then watch yourself.
You may not be able to get international presents now due to dilevery taking to long etc.
As is usual its a timely reminder to watch for spam and remember that when flustered you will be caught.
I myself am trying to finnish everything so I can get out of there.
A small note to users.
On updating adobe reader today I got an error 130.
I was told to repair adobe reader.
Don’t do this.
Rerun the update and it will install.
Windows 11 has fixed issues in the last update for dark mode and has also simplified context menu options which at least is pleasing.
Also at least all the updates went through without a hitch.
And yet again another edit.
It appears intel have released updated wifi and blootooth drivers for windows 11 25h2.
Its unlikely as a user you would have noticed any real difference or issue though.
But there are updates and they are compatible and so on.
Also dotnet 10.01 is out.
Yes dotnet does get releases but this one ran on 10 with all my other updates and I assumed it wouldn’t due to support.
