a small update to things

Hi all.
Firstly dropbox 139 is the latest update.
Next for those using winget you may have noticed today there is an update to microsoft app installer.
The installer will not install because one of the requirements package does not work.
This is one of the visual c libraries for x64 even though just about everything else does.
Fortunately by searching for microsoft app installer in google you will come to something like app installer m6 which goes to microsoft learn.
It is currently the second result down on google.
Actually when I searched its the first but anyway.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/msix/app-installer/install-update-app-installer
Anyway if you download the m6 bundle package which is just a link to get the latest installer, run it and hit update it will update and load itself so maybe the source for winget is bad or something.
Anyway it will run then just close.
Once thats done running winget will tell you there isn’t anything to do and its solved.
Unknown why thats even a problem.
At least downloading the bundle solves that issue.
Edge also got an update so thats the first major microsoft update for this week.
Along with codecguide mega 19.240, the next weeks updates should be firefox and thunderbird 247 and maybe adobe and chrome again as well as dropbox 240.
Its likely that firefox will upgrade once windows does and usually thunderbird updates close to that time.

Updates for vlc have also appeared.
Also office 360 and office standard have a massive update currently downloading as I speak which seems to be taking ages and ages.
Various other software packages for various other bits I use have also got updates indicating that a lot of stuff is coming back.
A reminder to all that from the end of february there may not be much news for at least a week as I am on a trip.
There will be nothing from me for the month of march and maybe a little time in april.
Between the end of may and start of june there will not be any posts from me.
There will be breaks in november and maybe other family things.
