Apparently 860gb of source code leaked from target?

Hello gang,

Today, we found an article from Bleeping Computer that is covering some potential source code leaks of potential software being developed or being used as part of Target’s infrastructure.

This is the same target that we know and love. Like Walmartl, Target is a big box store selling everything from food, to groceries, to your every day essentials.

I’ve gotten anything from cough drops to pop corn there.

The size of the potential leak of code is reported as 860gb, but Bleeping only looked at 14MB.

I’m not exactly sure what to say about this one, so I’ll let the article Target employees confirm leaked source code is authentic which goes in to great detail about what is confirmed and what might not be known.

This is not going to be a good start to the year for Target, I can assure you.
