Hi.
Well it appears that after the rants the crazyness and everything that the net is calming down and shifting about a bit.
Today adobe and java released updates of their various machines for this year.
Windows 11 is supposed to get web p extentions on it for graphics and there is rumor of background video support appearing.
Most of the news on the networks is old hash.
However if you read bleeping computer, there are at least a couple on chrome extention malware so check what you load.
Only load what you need and don’t load it because it looks cool.
On my system runs I have many family loading stuff because it looks and or sounds cool.
It may look and sound awesome but its often not.
Worse, I have had situations that while its reasonably easy to remove the issue the dammage can destroy systems.
Of course the issue which caused some of the offending junk to be loaded can usually be easilly solved.
In one case it was a bit of obselete and failing hardware causing the initial issue.
Removing the junk and rebuilding took a long while.
It took the same time for the new module to be shipped.
So I was able to install and test at least.
And performance went up.
But there are some people I have broken my contract with because I fix it and then they go back to what they want.
And I’m not payed.
I have learned that in the industry there are people called cash cows that do this sort of thing and complain and then pay.
So I guess if you know you will get a reasonable income stream from this and you know it will happen then thats a plus I guess though I personally found it boring repeating the same tasks day in and out.
