Hi all.
Firstly the good news, sysmon feature for system admins who want to have detailed logs is being putinto windows 11 beta.
Thats got to be good for users.
Next, the shut down issue thats been plaging enterprise users is spreading to windows 10 now.
Certainly advantages with amd cpus.
If you don’t use system guard and extra features you may not come into contact with this at all.
However rumors on neowin say if you have an intel processer you can still have this issue.
So far I have not had an issue but still.
Nvidia is blaming all their driver issues on windows updates.
This is not new but the fact nvidia has layed this squarely in microsoft’s lap is possibly the first big company pushback against the giant.
Weather that translates to something else is the question.
Generally the news has been good this week.
One thing, if you use mixed reality any 3d viewer stuff or maps that lot is being killed from windows.
Stuff we don’t use for sure.
More updates for explorer are appearing in 11 later updates for insiders at least for now.
Lets hope microsoft continues the upward trend.
A reminder that in 1.5 weeks there will be a break for a week and then I may pop back for a couple weeks then a break for march.
There will be a small break in april and then break near the end of may.
After that a break in august and then another near the end of the year in november.
During this time I won’t be doing anything on here.
