First VPN shut down, linked to cybercrime

A VPN provider called First VPN has been shut down. Apparently, they have been linked to allowing Cybercrime, and authorities in multiple countries have ended up infiltrating the service to find the database of users and the owner. The owner of the service has been arrested, and we do not know what the charges will be.

In regards to numbers of potential “customers” (in quotes) the bottom of the article mentions 506, but it is not a confirmed number.
