Another TV sports app web site system shut down

We’ve covered things like this in the past, and this time, a sports property called Pirlo. This TV system is meant to watch sports, especially coming from Mexico. But don’t be fooled by that. There are other people in other countries that allegedly used the service as well.

The fact that this service gotten 44 different domains in this notice we’re reading taken down is flat out appalling.

I still think registrars, in some form, really need to get involved before people abuse domains.

While this isn’t abuse in the same way as other stories we’ve covered, hosting streams that myay be questionable can get you in trouble.

While the takedown is nice, the operators behind this platform may be back in no time with more domains, because you can stockpile domains like no tomorrow without using a signle one. As long as you pay the fee, you can have it.

The article here is titled PirloTV sports piracy network disrupted as 44 domains seized.

Let me make one thing clear. I’m not responsible for what people do. If they use services like this, that’s fine. The operators are responsible for what they’re offering, you can’t be held responsible as a consumer.

I guess we’ll see what the company does next.
