updates this week

Hi all.
Before we get into this post I have a small announcement.
As of today the 9th july 2026 I am going to not be as active as I usually am.
I have an uncle in the last stages of cancer and well its the end of the road.
Unsure what this will mean but most likely I will be posting 1 post a week.
I will try to keep things updated but if my posts are shorter than usual or I don’t comment on posts this is why.
If you notice my personal blogs stop in the middle or look strange then thats why.
Next week is patch day.
Chrome has released one of its updates and there are office updates.
Firefox has a minor update for the 152 range and 153 is in its 10th beta meaning it will go live soon thunderbird is in its 6th beta so it will go live soon.
Expect edge to follow as normal and more updates.
Expect zoom and adobe to have updates.
Expact other software to update.
Windows 11 has a bug in it with a file made by a system component using loads of storage.
Its fixed in last month’s optional and will be fixed next week.
There is also a cloud restore in the works where the system will get all drivers and such for the system.
My only thing is it will be a generic restore meaning you may have to download all the customised drivers for your system as usual.
However for those that want to drop a system to a new person it maybe easier to just dump the system, and restore the system from the net.
Its part of troubleshooting so unsure about accessibility.
I am reading the blog daily and such and keeping updated.
The fake job thing did interest me.
My uncle during his final mucking about the computer managed to subscribe to something he shouldn’t have.
Since he is in no state to handle things he had to get his system wiped and a bunch of other things handled.
Ironically I had just finnished my after life stuff and those enduring eterny things and wills are really important to have online even if they do cost a fair chunk.
Be safe and for those that are in the southern side be aware of the storms.
Enjoy the summer you lucky 50% of the world and be carefull.
