this weeks patches

Note to all.
This will probably be extended as there will be probably updates this week.
Firstly firefox 153 is finally active and thunderbird was also released as of this edit.
Edge and chrome had updates, chrome had 2 and edge got 1.
In addition chrome and edge had another update today.
Windows has an emergency patch to fix issues with intel drivers and dell systems with performance issues, overheating and the like.
As of this edit there are no more updates at least this week.
Aparently vibe coded apps are cluttering the apple store.
This will be a concern as ai moves forward with people without any skill coding apps.
This maybe the new norm so we will have to figure a way round it.
People like myself with our own databases will continue to stick to those as we have had for the last 40 years or so.
Zoom has updated as well.
Codecguide 285 released yesterday as well as oracle java runtimes to 501.
Office also released this friday nz time.
Adobe also had another update to its reader app which I didn’t expect.
Its been proven that a program for some lg devices called lg monitor is installing unwanted software via windows update and lg has admit this.
Users are encouraged to remove the moniter software from their systems.
Some say its malware, however the fact something is loading extras from a user point of view just isn’t good especially without permition.
Articles go into the fact microsoft is allowing lg software via windows update to install malware and extra stuff though thats probably the usual sensationalised anger of the users who are effected.
Reguardless of what is true or not, a big company shouldn’t be doing this.
Microsoft and lg have aparently come to some arrangement and have due to user backlash actually tried to get rid of this popup and extra stuff so at least thats good.
I am concerned that ms is killing old windows 9x code as while legacy stuff sounds good to get rid of some of that is still usefull like the old multimedia panels, and various other things.
As usual stay frosty as they say, the world is heating up and not everything is as it seems.
