Third party hacked, Amgen says they’re affected

This is going in to the news of the “We’re sStill Investigating” department.

While the bottom of the article asks specific questions to the company, specificly about Shiny Hunters, there is nothing that is saying they have naything to do with it.

While Shiny Hunter has had a bit of a run in recent times breaching third party access and then exfiltrating data, I think I’m in agreement with Bleeping here and not ready to hand out any type of attribution.

The California based company has contacted people for assistance and a 8-K form filing has been made with the appropriate party, the SEC.

Amgen has not said which third party was involved, nor do they know what is definitively affected.

The article does state that if it is required, they will turn around and notify people by law.

Amgen says cloud data breach exposed patient health, proprietary info is the article if you want to read it.
