Hi all. Well if you want to get rid of skype because of its inaccessability then here is your chance. Gwskype uses the newly released skype developer runtime meaning the interface of skype doesn’t need to be used but the cloud based services still can. What you will get in this new system. 1 Full access to skype services, including skypeout. 2. hotkeys, and all the features you have come to love. 3. Simple dialog boxes, navigation, and origional sounds. What you won’t get. 1. customisable hotkeys. 2. skype extras. 3 skype startup and exit sounds. 4 phone dialpads. 5. face book and outlook contacts. 6 sharing if you ever use it. This thing is purely for skype to skype calls mainly and skypeout calls. You will get voicemail but no call forewarding. This is still version 1 though and I plan to make some suggestions on this. You will also not be able to test your calls with echo 123 unless you add it to the contacts. Though I plan to put through a quary on this app. If you are a general skype user blind or sighted that just wants to use skype then use it by any means. Oh not that it matters really but you can’t call web links for skype, at least the plugins are not there, though you don’t get to load any extra stuff.
