As I predicted, Security Now briefly discussed the school in question paying $28,000 and my prediction was Leo saying that they should have backed up. Sometimes, even if you have a backup, the data is more important at that time, and it may be days before they came back online even if they did. I still think that if you can restore from backups, do that. This article says that because people are paying, the people behind this know this, and they will continue to do it. If we do not give them money, than they have nothing to stand on and they’ll go elsewhere. Your thoughts?
