Mac and flash, this threat is still out there

I’m looking at another article here and one maybe we’ve covered prior. Flash is supposed to be deprecated, and updates will cease at some point this year. It can’t come soon enough. The sad thing is that people who use macs aren’t aware of the dangers that lurk out there because most of the attention had been on Windows machines for many years. Only within recent years has the Mac been vulnerable.

In no way am I saying that Mac was vulnerable from the beginning, but more attention was given to it recently, and not when I got started in computing.

The article is called Mac users are getting bombarded by laughably unsophisticated malware and it talks about a specific flash player update that is very persistant even though it has a very low success rate. The acters who are doing this must have enough for them to continue it, so if you come here and use a Mac, than this might be the article you read.
