Trend Micro and their intellegence security blog is reporting that there is a potential for a new app that is out there and can cause damage.
This is the third iteration of this app, which can reach in to both phones and do quite a bit of snooping around including taking messages from apps like whats app, monitoring phone calls, recording video, and more.
Trend Micro is reporting that they have not really seen the group behind this behavior before and this group may be beginners. The article mentions three different versions now, the third one being released March of this year. The first version was March 2019 with capabilities that are not mentioned in this one.
