Time and time again, we see institutions and other places of work get targeted in some sort of attack. This time, one of the Universities gets hit in an attack that they then pay 1.14 million dollars to get back data that was encrypted. Backing up a large network is hard, I completely understand that. I’m wondering if it is time for businesses, schools, hospitals, and the like to invest in off site backup solutions so they can recover? I honestly wonder how much it would cost to backup a large network like a school?
