CISA seems to be misguided

I don’t know if I blogged this, but I’ll blog it now. The article is titled Insiders worry CISA is too distracted from critical cyber mission and was written by Cyberscoop.

I’m not going to take from every section of this article as it is heavily linked, even for the show notes. It seems like this agency hasn’t really been doing much except to “do this” but then have problems within the government as they don’t do.

We’ll talk about that article later on and it’ll also be part of our podcast series.

While we know that Christopher Krebs was fired on Twitter, Jenn Easterly seems to have the right qualifications and talking about what we actually need to do. However, Krebs (no relation to Brian) does say that what they’re doing is good, but yet the government as a whole is not doing most things.

CISA’S notices tell us to patch, but does the government?

This is hard to cover, you’ve got to read the article so you understand what its talking about. We’ll talk about it on Wednesday, as posted earlier.
