Hello folks,

I know we haven’t touched EMHS in a couple of weeks, so here goes.

Terms

I don’t know if we’ve discussed malvertising before. It was added to our list of terms since we last posted the full list, check it out.

Books

We did start to add some of the older books to our collection. I’ve already read these books.

I’ve added to one paragraph at the top dealing with books, and also added another section to this section of the resources page.

Books will also be listed which closely talk about the landscape in some way as it relates to today. There are other books which may be true stories of crimes and punishments, but things change, and those books may be listed if it fits. For example, we could list a book talking about check cashing and crimes of that nature, but while that might have changed from the time of the book, it gives a history.

It may be best to read the description of the book to determine if it is something you want to read. Just because we decide to list a book and it is older doesn’t make it less relevant than something newer that talks about what is happening today.

The books that we added were by Kevin Mitnick.

  • Kevin Mitnick, Steve Wozniak and William L. Simon
  • Kevin Mitnick and Mikko Hypponnen
  • Companies and resources

I blogged about a new service, but I’m not ready to put it here. Seems clunky and has some issues, I.E. reading in Spanish with Jaws. Can’t duplicate that with NVDA though.

    Blog posts

We’re going to try and catch up here with blog posts from the past couple of weeks. I’ll go back to the beginning of March, that’ll cover it, don’t you think? Some are not blogged here, while most might.

    Final thoughts

We can’t do it without you. Go over to emhs and let us know what you think or let us know what we should add. Together, we can make that difference.
