Apparently, a portion of twitter’s source code was online through GitHub, an online repository of colaberation and programming code. As Twitter continues to struggle, this can’t be good for the company.
I understand its very hard right now at Twitter. Elon Musk has not necessarily made the smartest decisions, but he’s trying to get the company to make money.
Regardless of what I think, I do have to give him credit when he hired a disabled worker back after learning that what he got was not true.
You can continue to search for twitter here and find various articles of his missteps, but when you’re trying to get the company to make money when it has blown money is probably a tough prospect.
The article I spotted today is entitled Some of Twitter’s source code leaked, raising security concerns and Ben does a great job with this one.
Its unfortunate that Twitter is unstable, it definitely has a place if it can survive.
Some of us on TSB and on Throwback Saturday Night’s security hour have indicated that it may not last long and this is yet another mark on the company.
I just hope that Twitter can figure it out before it is too late.
