Brian Krebs recently wrote the article A Serial Tech Investment Scammer Takes Up Coding? which talks about something he tooted and we mentioned it in a recent musings piece about this guy.
Now, the full article is out and its just as good as the toot he posted.
I forget when that toot was posted, but you can definitely search John Bernard on this blog and find all of the posts that cover him.
The first paragraph of this article says:
John Clifton Davies, a 60-year-old con man from the United Kingdom who fled the country in 2015 before being sentenced to 12 years in prison for fraud, has enjoyed a successful life abroad swindling technology startups by pretending to be a billionaire investor. Davies’ newest invention appears to be “CodesToYou,” which purports to be a “full cycle software development company” based in the U.K.
This is definitely interesting to say the least. I wonder how much he’ll bilk out of people before he’s found out again?
