I see that there is an update on the sideloading issue that I was questioning on an earilier blog post. According to this article titled Report: iOS 17 sideloading features not coming to the US; Find My and Wallet app updates planned it recaps the sideloading issue, stating that it will be a quiet feature only for those that need to follow the new DMA law and the United States will not get this feature.
This article claims that the side loading will probably not be mentioned and that it is hoped that there will be a review process similiar to what we have already.
