How’s Twitter blue treating you, Elon?

Here’s an article titled Twitter reinstates Blue verification mark for top accounts — even if they didn’t pay for it that comes to us from Tech Crunch.

When I launched the app on Sunday, put it on my account, they said something about changing the company name and branding.

This article from Tech Crunch is talking about the fact that many accounts now have their blue check mark, even though they don’t have information on their account verifying that they own it.

The whole point on verification is to prove who you are, not a buy in facility.

As discussed in the past, Twitter is hoping to make tons of money this way, but it also says that they’re making other changes not documented dealing with advertisements.

I’m not going to bash the company, I am just giving out the news and giving my thoughts on what I think of what I’m reading.

If Twitter thinks that this is a good idea to run, that’s great. Don’t expect me to pay for any of my accounts, and I’ll figure out what to do with them besides leaving them alone for now on my sites.

The article was interesting and I think people need to see it, so I’ll pass it along and let it speak for itself.
