I don’t know what exactly to think about the article titled VW talks to Huawei to boost flagging EV presence in China. I can see both sides, one being that the Chinese company has been scrutinized and rightly so about their involvement with potential software that has potentially been bad. However, I’ve not heard any more about them recently until I stumbled on this article through Mastodon.
I guess if this company can make the software that VW needs, I don’t see why they couldn’t, but we must remember what we’ve heard about this company and if VW doesn’t know, they should find out first.
Sure, it might be old news and the company may be of value now, but only time will tell what will happen.
