If you live in California, you mnight be able to use Drive Pilot in certain situations if you’re a Mercedes user.
For complete details, Slashdot has the story and its going to get interesting.
The story is titled Mercedes First To Sell Vehicles In California With Hands-Free, Eyes-Off Automated Driving and I found it interesting.
At least, for now, it isn’t able to be engaged on city streets and other weather conditions. I guess we’ll see what happens with this.
In other car news, I recently heard a podcast from Kim Komando that talks about how Tesla still says their car is the safest, yet it was reported that more accidents have happened because of their auto pilot feature which is known as self driving.
To be fair, I don’t know what the situation on rules for those cars are, but Mercedes have a bunch of stipulations they must meet before they sell these cars as well as driver training and video watching they must do too.
Stay safe!
