I’ve seen postings through Mastodon lately about an accessibility advocate that is doing the right thing of bringing accessibility issues to a company’s attention.
I read the initial document blog posts and the recent posting that’s been boosted about why this case should be dismissed.
Lainey Feingold, an accessibility attorney, has quite a bit to say about this ordeal in a very well written article.
As I have thought about this case against Mr. Roselli, I personally think that this is unfair. Adrain seems to be one of these people who seems to be fair, and I’ve read his blog on the case. Now, its the lawyer’s turn with an article. Don’t worry, terms are defined where appropriate.
New Low in the Accessibility “Industry:” Overlay Company Sues Globally-Recognized Accessibility Expert is the article.
If anyone should be talking about accessibility issues, it would be Adrian. Its unfortunate that this case, and another French case mentioned in the article are ongoing.
If things aren’t working, than people who are more versed than I should tackle them. I have heard of Audio AI, but I am not sure if I have even used their products.
I guess I’m not surprised, seening how Audio AI is a multi-million dollar company, but still, I’d be working with the people reporting the issues, not giving them a lawsuit and having everyone fight it out in court.
Go Adrian! You’ve got my support.
