Some time ago, Kim Komando said in her daily minute podcast that at some point, writers and artists might sue based on what Chat GPT and others were doing.
Apparently, today’s daily minute is now saying that it has come. The writers guild and others are now suing the makers of ChatGPT, Google and others for illegally using copywritten material to train the models on what it knows.
The writers and artists, she says, do have a right to get compensated.
