What will the new year bring in cybersecurity trends?

The article comes to us from Lastpass, and while Lastpass had their own issues, I still find their articles of value.

If this company can’t learn from their blunders, than who will?

Ransomware is at the top of the list, and I bet we’ll continue to see this. I saw three attempts in one address on the same day and two were named the same. I think in fact that they’ll hit this community harder than ever, and we must be more at hand on how things come and what we’re looking for.

Passwordless authentication is coming, and Lastpass was the first to come on through with a prototype I believe we can use with their service if I’m not mistaken. Don’t count on me being right and ask if I am wrong. I believe that was the case.

Artificial Intelligance, otherwise known as AI may have some help on the way with both sides of this, but it may be slow.
