SEVERAL sources are reporting that 17.3 beta 2 is bricking phones, making them useless. The only solution is to restore from backup somehow, the article I came across doesn’t go in to any detail.
Apple Pulls iOS 17.3 Beta 2 Due to Boot Loop Issue – MacRumors is only one article, and while it does talk about possibly being linked to the back tap function, they do say that some phones were able to update to this version with no issues.
So, I guess we’ll have to see what happens.
As with all betas, things may and can happen that are unexpected. Its best if possible to not have it installed on your primary device in case of issues like this where it gets stuck.
