Go IGI continues to call, pressures to get business, can’t understand “I can’t afford it!” as an answer
Hello,
Go IGI, a company I’ve written about continues to call. I answered the call, and again have told them that they have been calling for the past few years, and that their services are not whaat this network needs.
I explained to the company that we only roughly make $100 and my budget is $0 for outsourcing.
While I had someone supposedly make an app, I never got a chance to see it, even after signing paperwork so they can manage it.
The representative I talked to said that their web site was updated, but when I hit B for button: it still said button 1, button 3, etc. so tht tells me that they have not fixed anything since I last talked to them. Go IGI web site
I don’t know how many times that this network needs to talk about this company, but I told the manager and made it very clear that I do not have a budget for any IT services, web developers or outsourcing. They promptly hung up.
If you want to read our other blog post about this company, read my June 2023 blog post on them.
If you truly support what we do, donate if you wish. But all of the services at MENVI all of our podcasts and reading the articles and blogs will be free.
If you can’t donate but you still want to show your support, let us know what you think! Comment on this blog, or send an email. We recently got one about having a guest on for a future program, so we’ll see how that goes. I responded last night to that email.
I understand why sites go behind a paywall, but it isn’t about the money, its about the education. Even our recently launched Email Host Security is free because education is key.
This Network will never outsource our work to an outside agency who decides to call us and ask us if we need services. If we outsource, we will call a company and consult with them about what they need from us, and if terms are good, we’ll do something.
The popup asks for name, email, city name, phone number, and requirements. After their book now button, there’s an unlabeled 0 button. The name they want is your full name.
If you get a call from this company, please be firm, if you strike a deal I’m happy for you. But with unlabeled buttons still on their web site, and now a popup on their site inviting you to give your name and contact details to them, that makes it shady to me. Let me decide if I want toc ontact you. And while they claimed they were offering a Valentines day special, there’s a $0 budget here as far as people are concerned.
Thanks so much for reading, make it a great day!
