David Holiday was one who was responsible for programming Megadots in the 90s. Him and his wife, Caryn Navy did a great job in that program.
Below, please find something I just ran across on Mastodon from David Goldfield.
Stephanie Appleby: Boosting David Goldfield (DavidGoldfield): I am very sad to pass on the news that assistive technology pioneer David Holladay passed away yesterday. This is a tragic loss both for his family, the blindness community and the assistive technology field. I’m just so sorry. Please pray for his family and for the repose of his soul. This is a great loss. His contributions to our community were immense. I wish I could do something.

This is the link to the announcement from David’s list with the forward from Duxbury where him and Caryn worked after Raised dot Computing was baught out.
This gives a little more info than I had on David, and it saddens me to hear he’s been ill for many years and bedridden.
Thank you, David, for all you’ve done. Your contributions were much appreciated. We’ll miss you.
