Why is it so hard to shut down accounts that are not yours?

I’ve tried to figure out a way to get people’s attention with this one. The article question here might be appropriate because it is a similar question asked by the victim Since you can simply open an account say at a bank with only two pieces of info, but they want tons of info to close it, there is a big disparity by it.

This article caught my attention when I first spotted it and I’m up looking around to cover things I’ve seen.

The article is titled “20 fake bank accounts opened in my name”: stolen identity turns into nightmare and its another one of these articles that while I don’t like hearing these stories, there may be something we can all learn from it.

This story comes from Australia and is worth the read. Read, learn, try to protect yourself the best you can. It only takes one piece of missing information for all hell to be turned loose.
