While CyberNews does a great job with this, I started wondering the same thing they did when they said that some of the information supposedly gotten was misspelled, and also old data. Its also possible that some of the database is valid with names, phone numbers, and other information being valid.
The article is titled US federal employee data leaked, claimed by hacker trio and I’d like to see something more definitive to give some good power to. For now, its a wait and see game.
