We thought TikTok was bad, News Break seems to be worse

This is the top item in today’s newsletter and i found an article on it. Its probably the same as it was in the newsletter too, so I know what this thing covers.

The article from Kim Komando is titled Use the NewsBreak app? Delete it. Here’s why – Komando.com.

Besides having its ties in two different parts of China, they have a U.S. base here in the United States.

Kim also wrote something that woke me up if I wasn’t awake already. She wrote that this app generates AI stories, some that may ot necessarily be true.

The example given is a shooting on Christmas Day. As she wrote, the shooting never happened. Shootings like this example mentioned in the article would be all over the news. Apparently they posted this story this past December.

Kim was also published there until she started writing about what the country is up to.

Did I also mention the fact that this app is riddled with ads? The more you’re on it, the more money they make.

Oh yes, one more thing, besides the fake bylines and the made up stories, content is stolen from legitimate sources too.

Maybe that wasn’t clear when I wrote that Kim was published there until she started writing about some of what has happened, especially with TikTok.

The article is titled Use the NewsBreak app? Delete it. Here’s why for your perusal.
