We’ve got more on this NPD databreach

I decided to look more to see if there was any other coverage besides the Hackread article we found via Kim’s newsletter.

Hackers leak 2.7 billion data records with Social Security numbers has contradictory information, which says it could be 2.7 billion people, while other information gleaned from this article states that some information is inaccurate.

While this breach and what is known is very little, we do know that a lawsuit on the parent company is under way, and its linked within this story as well as talked about in the article from Hackread.

I must say that we’ll have to keep tabs on this, as it’ll get very interesting.
