Bleeping computer has info on the Blue Yonder situation

Yesterday, we blogged about a CNN article talking about Starbucks and the fact that they have been targeted for ransomware.

While this article I found on Bleeping computer mentions Starbucks at the end, it really goes in to detail about Blue Yonder and who they are.

According to the Bleeping Computer article, there is no news about which gang took responsibility of the attack, nor do we know how many companies were even affected besides Starbucks.

They used to be known as JDA software and is a Panasonic subsidiary with a $2 billion revenue stream.

Among its 3,000 customers are high-profile organizations like DHL, Renault, Bayer, Morrisons, Nestle, 3M, Tesco, Starbucks, Ace Hardware, Procter & Gamble, Sainsbury, and 7-Eleven.

I wonder who else will come out? This paragraph only lists a subset of companies, but like with the other software hack we covered called Snowflake, not many companies came out although some did.

I guess time will tell.

Blue HYonder detected no activity in its public environment, the article states.
