AT&T data repackaged, could have SSN, other data

We’re now learning that a 2021 AT&T breach may be resurfacing again as actors are repackaging data up, matching dates of births and SSN data together to people’s names.

This is common in the criminal industry, says the article. Shiny Hunters failed on selling the data in 2021, so it was packaged in 2024.

Why the hell we’re finding out about this now is beyond me, we should’ve found out last year.

Sometimes, I aught to wonder.
